Hungry Chef Catering – Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By booking a service with Hungry Chef Catering, you agree to these Terms of Service. These terms outline our responsibilities, your obligations, and the conditions under which we provide catering services. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with a booking.
2. Services Provided
Hungry Chef Catering offers personal chef and catering services for private events. This includes meal preparation, on-site cooking, service, and any agreed-upon extras. Specific details, such as menu choices and service times, will be confirmed in writing before your event.
3. Booking & Payment
A deposit may be required to confirm a booking. The amount will be specified during the booking process.
Full payment is due before or on the day of service unless otherwise agreed.
Payment can be made via bank transfer, cash, or another agreed method.
All prices are subject to change based on menu selections, guest count, and additional services requested.
4. Cancellations & Changes
Cancellations made with sufficient notice may receive a refund, minus any costs already incurred. The exact refund policy will be discussed at the time of booking.
Changes to bookings (such as menu alterations or guest count adjustments) should be made as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate requests but cannot guarantee availability.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The customer must provide a suitable kitchen or workspace for food preparation if on-site cooking is required.
Any dietary requirements or allergies must be disclosed at the time of booking. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment.
The customer is responsible for their guests and any damages caused by them.
6. Food Safety & Compliance
We follow all relevant food safety laws and guidelines to ensure quality and hygiene.
Leftover food, once served, becomes the customer’s responsibility, and we are not liable for any issues arising from its consumption thereafter.
7. Liability & Indemnity
While we take every precaution to deliver quality service, we are not liable for any unexpected circumstances, such as equipment failure, venue issues, or uncontrollable events.
The customer agrees to indemnify Hungry Chef Catering against any claims arising from their event, including guest behavior, venue damage, or food-related issues beyond our control.
8. Marketing & Photos
We may take photos of the food prepared for promotional purposes unless the customer requests otherwise in advance.
9. Miscellaneous
These terms may be updated from time to time, with the most current version applying to future bookings.
By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms.

- Deposit Requirement
- A 50% deposit is required upon acceptance of the quote to secure your booking. This deposit confirms your event date and allows us to begin preparations.
- Cancellation Timeframes and Refunds
- Cancellations made 14 days or more before the event date: The deposit will be refunded in full.
- Cancellations made between 7 to 13 days before the event date: 50% of the deposit will be refunded.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event date: The deposit is non-refundable.
- Rescheduling
- If you wish to reschedule your event, we will do our best to accommodate your new preferred date. Rescheduling requests made less than 7 days before the event may incur additional costs, depending on preparation already undertaken.
- Force Majeure
- In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond your or Hungrychef’s control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions), we will work with you to reschedule or provide an appropriate resolution.
- Last-Minute Changes
- Any changes to the event details, including dietary requirements or guest numbers, must be communicated at least 7 days prior to the event. Changes made within this timeframe will be accommodated where possible but may incur additional fees.
